Choose how you arrive: a welcome guide, one search for everything, and a twin vine that follows you

TL;DR: The foundation's GitHub portal and this AstroLog now greet first-time visitors with "Choose how you arrive" (light, motion, contrast and cursor effects), offer a welcome guide, and share one / search across both sites. Your pointer can grow a twin vine of sky and gold as it moves, and every entry, write-up and teaching has its own preview card.

🌿 Choose how you arrive

  • The first time you visit, a small panel asks how you’d like the page: Canopy (the forest before dawn), Morning mist (the same forest an hour later), or Follow the sun.
  • Pick how much moves: Still, Breeze, or Bloom. If your device already asks for less motion or more contrast, those are chosen for you. Your choice is saved in your browser only, and it follows you between the portal and the AstroLog.
  • Change any of it later from the Light & motion drawer in the header, or the quick buttons beside it.

🌱 A twin vine behind your pointer

  • With cursor effects on, a sky-blue strand (A Course in Miracles, the Eagle) and a gold strand (plant medicine, the Condor) braid along your pointer’s path and meet where your pointer is, in one point of light. Leaves open along the way, and on Bloom seeds drift down from it.
  • Fireflies still drift behind every page. One switch turns all of it off, and Still rests it.

🧭 A welcome guide

  • Open it from the drawer, by pressing ?, or with the Welcome guide link in the footer. Nine short steps open the nine petals of a flower: what this site is, the changelog and library, Kenney’s Teachings, search, light and motion, who’s doing the work, where the community talks, and iamoneself.com.
  • The foundation hasn’t opened a community space for conversation yet, so that step says so honestly (“coming soon”) and points to About the Speaker on iamoneself.com. There’s also a space for a few words of welcome from Kenney, left empty until he writes them.

🔎 One search for everything

  • Press / (or ⌘ K) on any page of the portal or the AstroLog to search every entry, write-up, teaching and page on both sites, including the words of Kenney’s teaching.

✨ Credits and preview cards

  • Every entry now shows who did the work, the way the foundation’s own pages name them, with a GitHub picture when there is one and initials in a ring of the twin vine when there isn’t.
  • Share any entry, write-up or teaching in WhatsApp, iMessage or Telegram and it arrives with its own card, drawn with the foundation’s vine (or, for a teaching, its own medallion from Kenney’s flyer). The Copy a link button under each page does the copying.
