The ledger: every public change in plain words, plus reading mode and what's new since your last visit

TL;DR: The AstroLog has a new page, the ledger: every public change to the foundation's open repositories on GitHub, in plain words, gathered fresh every day. There's also a one-tap reading mode, and a quiet count in the header of what's new since your last visit.

📜 The ledger

  • The changelog tells the story of finished work. The ledger is the day-by-day record underneath it: each public change, sorted into kinds like fixes, look and feel, records and docs, or behind the scenes, and grouped by month, day and repository. Each row links to the change itself on GitHub.
  • It reads public repositories only, and leaves out automatic publishes, merges and bot chores (the page says how many).
  • It gathers itself again every morning, so it’s never more than a day behind.

📖 Reading mode

  • The book button in the header gives you the calmest page in one tap: Morning mist, the forest still, more contrast, and no vine behind your pointer. Tap it again to go back to exactly how you had it.

✦ What’s new since your last visit

  • When you come back, a small count beside the search button shows how many entries, write-ups, teachings and ledger changes are new since you were last here. Open it to see them at the top of search. First visits show nothing.
